Canada's top rowers are now in Lucerne, Switzerland, preparing for this week's BearingPoint Rowing World Cup.
"The Lucerne World Cup is annually the toughest racing outside of the World Championships," said Rowing Canada Avirons High Performance Director, Alan Roaf. "We've taken a creative approach this year to test some new boat combinations, and we're looking forward to seeing where we stand."
More than 700 athletes (492 men and 248 women) are entered representing 42 countries. The 280 crews will take part in 14 World Cup events, as well as eight International events. Canada has 10 boats entered.
The competition begins with heats on July 8, and finals held on July 10.

The lightweight women will row in a LW 4x (quad) as well.
